Waking into awareness is not something new to Iambic Dream Films. In Waël Kabbani’s most recent work we follow a group of students traveling to Chyulu Wilderness Camp in Kenya to learn how to make a documentary film about the camp and the Maasai tribe that runs it, only to discover a much deeper story of profound transformations in many areas of traditional Maasai life.
Design for Awareness designed a series of posters to symbolically represent a parallel path involving wildlife conservation and changing women’s roles among the Maasai. The design was adapted and animated for the trailer as seen above.
